A charming Victorian entrance door with traditional style glazing.

Our team designed, manufactured and fitted this door for a client in Maidenhead, Berkshire.

The wooden door features decorative handmade stained glass panels in an authentic Victorian style. We worked with a local stained glass artist to create the design.

The artist cut the glass, set it into leaded sections and soldered it secure. Then, our team encapsulated the finished piece between two clear panes to form double glazed units.

This client chose Farrow & Ball’s Stone Blue paint to finish their new front door. This shade of blue was not available in the Victorian era, but it’s the perfect choice for homeowners today.  The shade is regal, yet has a contemporary vibe. Ideal for bringing a period home up-to-date.

Finally, the client selected polished nickel door furniture to compliment the blue paintwork.
