Beautiful double doors designed to enhance the charm of your Victorian property

This homeowner contacted our team with a request to replace their old, worn out Victorian double doors.  As you can see from the photographs below, the original doors (left) were in very poor condition. At the client’s request, we recreated two new doors in the same style (right).  Click any image to view full size:

We painted the doors in “Card Room Green” by Farrow and Ball, who describe this a colour as “much favourited in the Victorian period”. To finish the door, we installed our signature door furniture in polished brass, which coordinates beautifully.

Victorian double entrance doors

These doors were fitted at the client’s property in Mapperley Park, Nottingham.  While a number of our clients are located in Nottingham and surrounding counties (Derbyshire, Leicestershire, etc) we can arrange delivery nationwide, so do contact us if you’re based further afield.

Improved security:

In addition to improving the property’s curb appeal, these beautiful double doors enhance the home’s security too. We used Accoya’s highly durable, ultra strong timber to craft these doors.

We also fitted the doors with an Avocet ABS snap-proof cylinder lock for added peace of mind. These locks are awarded the “Diamond Standard” by Sold Secure, an independent organisation that tests and assesses security equipment. They’re widely regarded as the most secure locks in the industry.
