Bloomsbury Georgian Door
A traditional Bloomsbury Georgian door with bevelled edge glass.
This “Bloomsbury” door was created for a client who wanted an authentic style Georgian door for their period home. This door features bolection moulds mitred round each chamfered panel. We used bevelled edged glass for the glazing. The lifetime finish solid brass door furniture complements the door beautifully.
The door was created from solid mahogany and finished with in this rich green paint – a traditional colour often used on Georgian front doors.

Made in Nottingham, delivered across the UK:
All of our Georgian design doors are handcrafted by our skilled team, in our Nottingham-based workshop. Although our doors are produced in the East Midlands, we’re happy to deliver further afield.
We work closely with a talented stained glass artist to create the designs for our period doors. Our glass artist only uses traditional techniques and materials in their work.
Both our wooden door and glass designs are researched extensively from our large library of text books on site. This is to ensure designs are 100% authentic to the period of the home.
We only use high performance wood for our made-to-measure doors. We recommend acclaimed Accoya timber for its durability and longevity.
For added security, we use “diamond standard” ABS cylinder locks on all of our doors.
