We’re a company set in the heart of England.
At Old English Doors we specialise in designing and manufacturing hand made doorways for homeowners, commercial properties, churches, universities, banks, schools, and any other period buildings.
We can design the perfect doorway to compliment the architectural features of any style or age of property, using only time-honoured techniques. All of our designs are researched from our large library of text books, working drawings, and other historical artefacts.
At Old English Doors we will take on your whole project, from the first hand drawn sketch to fitting the last screw into our handmade door furniture. It is our aim to work closely with home owners to meet their every expectation. We also work with builders, architects, conservation and heritage officials.
To compliment our handmade doors, we can also supply hand cut stained glass and bevelled leaded lights, which are crafted using only traditional methods.
Our vast range of unique door furniture will meet with any client’s personal style or tastes and is available in solid cast brass, or bronze and even 24 carat gold if your budget will stretch.
Old English Doors believe that the entrance to a building should always be the most important feature of the property as it is this part of a building which has the first claim to adornment and on which considerable attention is almost invariably bestowed.
We strive to keep traditional methods of woodworking alive. We pride ourselves on our keen attention to historic and period detail, plus our eye for classical design.
