Our traditional wooden stable doors are designed with inward-opening top section.
Our team of skilled craftsmen designed and constructed this traditional stable door for a client. It features an inward opening top section. To direct water away from the joint, we added a small weatherboard.
Customised to your preferences:
Are you looking for a custom stable door for your property? We can design and manufacture a traditional stable door to your preferences. Whether you’re renovating an old barn or simply updating the external doors on your cottage, our team can help you.
During the initial consultation, we’ll listen your requirements and incorporate them into our design plans. We can also make suggestions, if required, to ensure your stable door compliments the charm and character of your property.
All of our stable doors are fully bespoke, made-to-order. This means you can choose every element of the design: from the colour of the door to the hardware used.
We also work with a local glazier who will create custom glass designs for your door, where needed.
Our stable doors are made in Britain:
Our stable and barn doors are manufactured in our Nottingham-based workshop. Although we’re based in the East Midlands, we’re happy to deliver our doors nationwide.
This stable door was created using only the finest quality timber. We recommend Accoya timber as it’s exceedingly durable, virtually rot proof and specially treated to last over 50 years. This internationally renowned brand of timber is also known for its dimensional stability and superior paint/varnish retention properties. This means your stable door will open effortlessly year round and require less maintenance.
For added safety, our traditional wooden stable doors come fitted with a steel inlay and an ABS diamond standard cylinder lock. We offer these security features as standard.
